Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-09
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TempoMailer (the "Service"), a free disposable-email service available at tempomailer.com. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1.Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form a binding agreement between you and the Operator. By accessing the Service, generating a disposable address, or receiving messages through it, you consent to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3.The Service
The Service provides short-lived, receive-only email addresses intended to shield a user's primary inbox from unsolicited correspondence. Messages received on a disposable address are stored for a limited period and then permanently deleted. The Service is provided free of charge and may be funded by optional advertising.
4.Session and access
No user account is created when you use the Service. Access to a given disposable inbox is tied to a session cookie stored by your browser. The Operator cannot recover or transfer access once that cookie has been deleted or when you switch browser or device.
5.Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and with these Terms. You must not, in particular:
- harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person or entity;
- circumvent bans, rate limits, fraud controls, or the terms of service of third-party platforms;
- use the Service to facilitate phishing, identity theft, malware distribution, or any form of fraud;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' data;
- use disposable addresses where a permanent, reliably-deliverable address is required for legal, financial, or safety reasons.
6.Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to receive content that is unlawful under any applicable jurisdiction, including but not limited to content exploiting minors, inciting violence or terrorism, facilitating illegal arms or drug trade, or infringing the rights of third parties.
7.Service availability and changes
The Service is offered on a best-effort basis without guaranteed uptime. Incoming messages may be delayed, reordered, deduplicated, or dropped; disposable addresses expire automatically. The Operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and disclaims any liability for such changes.
8.Data retention
Disposable addresses and the messages received through them are deleted automatically after the retention period displayed in the inbox. Session and preference cookies expire as described in the Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for copying out any information you wish to retain before it expires.
9.Intellectual property
The Service — including its source code, design, trademarks, logos, documentation and other materials — is the property of the Operator or of its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as intended, no licence is granted to you.
10.Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as advertising networks, DNS providers, or hosting infrastructure). The Operator does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of such third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
11.Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The Operator does not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be free of errors, interruptions, or security breaches.
12.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service. The Operator's aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed fifty euros (€50). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Operator and its affiliates from and against any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misuse of the Service.
14.Suspension and termination
The Operator may, at its sole discretion and without notice, suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in particular in case of abuse or violation of these Terms. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive any such termination.
15.Changes to these Terms
The Operator may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, business practices, or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service following publication of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16.Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Italian Republic, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence. Any dispute arising out of these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the Operator's place of residence.
17.Contact
For any question regarding these Terms, contact the Operator via the contact details published on the About page. Notices served on the Operator must be in writing and addressed to the published contact.
